Dr Amanda Young
Amanda graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Sydney in
2019 and has worked in a variety of small animal veterinary practices across Sydney. She
enjoys all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in integrative veterinary
medicine and senior pet care.
As part of her approach to patient care, Amanda also offers veterinary acupuncture
consultations.
Before pursuing veterinary medicine, Amanda studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
at the University of Technology Sydney, qualifying as a human TCM practitioner. She is
trained in a range of TCM therapeutic modalities and, following veterinary school, completed
her Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture and is a qualified veterinary acupuncturist.
Amanda is fluent in English and Cantonese and can also speak Mandarin.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, sketching,
and volunteering in her local community.
