Dr. Fiona Smith
Fiona graduated from Sydney University BVSc in 1982, and then worked as a small animal vet [dogs, cats and wildlife and occasional rabbits guinea pigs and other small creatures] in Australia and briefly in the UK. Fiona opened Chatswood Veterinary Clinic in 1988 and was awarded ASAVA small animal practitioner of the year 2010-11.
Fiona decided she wanted to become a vet at age 8 on a visit to a friend’s family farm. Fiona loves the variety the days bring her as a general practice veterinarian and is interested in internal medicine, surgery, radiology and imaging, and has completed continuing education in many areas. Fiona loves being part of the lives of small creatures and their families from puppy and kittenhood to their geriatric years.
